The Broadvoice b-hive Mobile App offers users the ability to make calls from their mobile devices using their business phone number. Calls can be made over WiFi or the phone's mobile network. Furthermore, users can seamlessly transfer calls between their desk phone and mobile device utilizing the transfer feature.
The mobile app provides access to the user's phone directory.
Call recording functionality is accessible at the account level. When call recording is enabled, it records the call on the mobile device. Additionally, the mobile app itself includes a call recording feature that stores a local recording of the call. A duplicate recording is archived within the portal upon activating call recording.
Regulations:
- The b-hive Mobile app is exclusively available to Broadvoice customers.
- Users must possess an existing b-hive Cloud PBX account.
- Transferring calls from a desk phone to a mobile phone is feasible where the user's presence settings indicate simultaneous ringing on both devices.
- 911 calls made from the mobile device are directed through the Broadvoice network. Users are advised to exercise caution and place 911 calls through their mobile device carrier.
- Broadvoice does not endorse the use of the mobile app for b-hive Metered seat users. Metered seat users will incur usage charges for each outbound call at standard rates.
